LSP Other Functions
In addition to specification limits, LSP now handles two additional limits against any numerical data; 90% confidence limits and action limits - ideal for the quarry manager. Whenever required, LSP will calculate all your confidence limits based on your result database. Result Categories:When you save a result, the result category is evaluated for you. Category A for in-spec, B for out-of-spec and U for unclassified. You may override the category LSP suggests. Pennine Data can customise this to your requirements. Alternate Specs:While viewing your average grading on screen, you can now change the specification limits to others held on the system. A really quick way of evaluating a source for supply to different material specifications. Grading Spec Assessment:Given a series of test results from a source, LSP will be able to evaluate which specifications that source may comply with, or nearly comply. LSP gets hard on concrete Concrete Compliance:The ability to monitor concrete cube crushing strengths. LSP will then assess the Current Margin. It is anticipated that this section of LSP will fully comply with the Specification for Highway Works Series 1700. Sample Weights:The calculated data entry will soon check your total sample weight used for testing. Just another way that LSP helps to improve the quality of your work. Grading Control Chart:The current version plots one sieve at a time on a control chart. A future version may include the facility to plot lines for all sieves on one chart. Uniformity:The uniformity coefficient has been added to the grading chart. This is the ratio of the sieve sizes for 60% and 10% passing. It gives an indication of the spread of particle sizes in a material. |
